HISTORY

Originally a means of providing cheap climbing brushes to friends and the local climbing community, Friction Addiction quickly grew into a larger than expected enterprise specialising in climbing training equipment and climbing paraphernalia such as chalk. In late 2015, Friction Addiction made a move to become the importing and distribution partner for Lapis climbing from Slovenia. This largely came to be due to an apparent lack of quality European climbing holds at reasonable price points on the Australian market. The rest is history and Friction Addiction as of 2019 distributes a total of 23 different climbing hold manufacturers and services Australia, New Zealand and Oceania with products from all over the globe.
