Squadra

SQUADRA CLIMBING HOLDS was founded by Nando Plötzeneder, Reini Fichtinger and Gerhard Hörhager.

We got started in 2010 in Tyrol, Austria. Deeply rooted in the rock climbing and competition scene, the three of us decided to make climbing holds that express our vision of climbing.

OUR VISION – SHAPE TO INSPIRE

Squadraholds are creative tools.

When designing Squadraholds, our goal is a shape that inspires flowing movement. Squadraholds cover a wide range of shapes, from the smallest crimp for slabs to very big slopers. Squadravolumes allow modern, three-dimensional routesetting and define the style of a wall. By choosing Squadraholds, you equip yourself with all you need for creative routesetting.

What all Squadraholds and Volumes have in common is that they are made with high-end problems and routes in mind. Watching the world’s best compete on Squadraholds is what inspires us to create exciting new shapes.

Voltomic

Voltomic is a young, ambitious company located in beautiful Rosenheim, Germany.

We manufacture products of high quality in our workshop near Rosenheim. There, we produce plywood volumes/Voltomics of high quality, volume holds, wall structures, surface coatings of all sorts, plywood climbing panels, structures, boulder walls, custom build volumes and many more things.

Our volumes, in particular, became popular within a very short period of time. Due to the systematic cooperation of experienced climbers, professional  route setters, owner of climbing halls as well as, of course, excellent craftsmen, it was possible for Voltomic to establish a creative, wide-ranging, functional series of volumes of high quality on the market.

Voltomic’s wall elements allow you to enter a new dimension of climbing. Route setters will have totally new possibilities to construct climbing- and bouldering routes on pre-existing walls with little variety. With the help of a single volume or a combination of several volumes, it is possible to create a completely new shape of the wall fast and comfortably: This allows creating new, creative routes and offers the customer a maximum amount of variety.

Voltomics stands for quality MAde in germany:

Voltomics produces structures for climbing- and bouldering walls exclusively made of birch plywood of high quality. All volumes are glued and screwed together – this guarantees a maximum of durability. The sophisticated drilling grid will be equipped with screwed T-nuts.

3a Holds

Since I was very young I have always been practicing all kinds of land and water sports, and if in addition to this I could also enjoy nature, it surely was much better.

I have also been practicing adventure sports such as diving, skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, cycling, spelunking, canyoning, etc. for more than 15 years.

Professionally speaking, I am an electrical installations technician and I combine it with my graphic design hobby. This is how in 2013 I became a co-founder and designer of LOOP Wear for 4 years, until the end of 2016, when I created my own brand "3Aholds" to make my own designs come true.

My knowledge in 3D design, my technical profession and my continuous contact with nature, intertwine to design a very studied dams, with perfect geometries of smooth lines, allowing almost all 3A dams to combine them and create new grip options.

Dai Holds

When I started climbing at the age of 14, there were no climbers around me.  Of course, no climbing gyms.

So, right after I started, I made my own climbing wall by myself in the garage.   The photos of magazines were my teachers. I made holds with cement, wood and natural stones. It was natural to me to make holds by myself.  Since then I’ve been shaping holds for about 30 years. To me, the world is full of inspiration. Shapes of natural rock, landscapes, architectures, art crafts and paintings. I like looking at art books such as paintings and works by great designers. I pinned some clippings of them on the wall in my work space. When I shape, I always have the concrete images in my head from the beginning. So the process of shaping starts with cutting and carving the materials to make it closer and closer to the image. I check them precisely with my hands and fingers again and again until it gets to the same as my image.
Thanks to EUROHOLDS, my shapes which just started in my small garage, go to the world now.
I’m very happy if my designs will help your climbing and training.

Hito Holds

Everything started at the beginning of 2010, when we had to select a bunch of holds for our home wall… then I discovered an exciting world. The climbing hold design.

I was a lucky man meeting Ferrán Guerrero (PSYCO ART HOLDS), one of the best designers in the world. We started with several emails, comments on Facebook, always with thousands of questions that Ferrán answered with great patience. Thanks Ferrán!
For 3 years, I worked tirelessly to improve my designs, I got more natural, realistic, organic designs, closer and closer to what I considered a high quality design. The work bears fruit, people begin to take interest in my designs, companies of national and international scope. It is the support I needed to take the final step and set myself the goal of creating my own brand of climbing holds, (HITO HOLDS).
Currently now, Hito holds has many different ranges of holds (we prefer call families), with which you can set incredible and very versatile routes. Due to our association with the EUROHOLDS GROUP Factory, you can see our designs on climbing gyms all around the world, with an impressive quality, with the best finishes, with exclusive polyurethane formula and a range of spectacular colors, that motivates me to keep going with best designs everytime
I will continue creating new shapes and new textures for all you to enjoy indoor sport climbing.

KlettonikLogo.jpg

Klettonik

Klettonik was born from the name Klettern (climbing in German) and my name Toni, giving it a touch of toning and Training.

My inspiration for inventing training devices for climbing and calisthenics has its origins in my climbing training classes in the German federation DAV (Deutsche Alpenverein) as a children's trainer for competitions (Wettkampftrainer). Finding ways to train specific aspects along with my vocation as an engineer were the triggers of Inventor Klettonik. I have spent 10 years dedicated to this incredible world of climbing and a couple in the world of calisthenics, since they are two very complementary disciplines, both do not stop surprising me to see that there is still a lot to develop and invent. My experience as coach along with my profession as an aeronautical engineer gave me a clear vision of the needs to be developed in. There is not a day that I do not go to bed thinking about how to improve my existing products or in the development of a new one. My addiction to bouldering, sport climbing and calisthenics training together with all the Inputs that I receive from this generous and friendly atmosphere in these disciplines, make this brand day by day recycle and grow with strength and above all with enthusiasm. Working in such an environment is not working, but enjoying.

Thank you all, friends of the rock and the calisthenics, for giving me the confidence and the opportunity to be a transmitter of your needs.

LoopLogo.jpg

Loop Holds

Boulder fanatic, windsurfing and mountain skiing, i started in the 90s the activity of climbing and speleology with some friends in Malaga (Spain), spent some years and moved to Mallorca, where I followed joined the mountain world with mountaineering and trekking, and as a representative of some of the world's brands of adventure sports, but life coincidences one day a friend Cristian lupion gave me back the worm of climbing and I went back to start doing sports climbing again.

At this time I began to organize national climbing events and I started to meet people from the world of competition, one day I contacted Ferran Guerrero (Psycoartholds) and Toni Llopis (Rokodromo) and we started a Friendship and collaboration that still lasts.
The first Loop designs were made by Ferran Guerrero at the end of 2012 and they were manufactured by Rokodromo, here was the first idea of Euroholds. That time I attended many events of the Boulder World Championship and difficulty, and culminated organizing one of the best private Boulder events that were made so far in Spain, the Balearic Master boulder with climbers like Sasha Digiuliam and Sean Mccoll. In that moment loopwear and loopholds were already about to go on sale with Alberto Rebassa as graphic designer (currently 3Aholds).
During these 6 years loopholds and loopwear have positioned themselves in the international market with Euroholds thanks to their distributions and the quality of their products and loopwear as a brand specializing in Boulder as crashpads and magnesium of very high quality.
At the end of 2015 I started to self-study the first foam designs for loopholds, launching the first molds in 2016 with the Eros and Drop line series that have positioned us as a benchmark in this sector.

Padstar Holds

I got into hold design by happy accident. One day I switched on the internet and there before me on the screen was the most amazing hold I had ever seen. It turned out to be a design by Master Shaper, Ferran Guerrero from Psyco Art Holds. At this time I was shaping surfboards so I grabbed an off cut of board foam and shaped a hold, then another and another. I showed my work to Ferran, he loved my shapes and gave me much encouragement to continue.

After a couple of false starts I found a natural home with the Euro Holds Group and today I feel very lucky to be involved and a part of the group. It’s very reassuring to know the guys have my back and are there to make my molds and manufacture my shapes, using advanced processing and state of the art resin.

My inspiration is a mix of art driven visual design and my many years of bouldering outside on rock. Bouldering moves, real and imagined are the key stone to developing new shapes. I try and include as much realism into my holds as possible while maintaining a modern element to the design. Texture and finger friendly safety are very important as I aim to produce 3 star shapes.

PsycoLogo.jpg

Psyco ArtHolds

Ferran Guerrero, designer and owner of Psyco Art Holds, first and foremost as an artist, whether designing climbing holds, working on wood or making tree prints where he has found great recognition with his work.

Full-time creative, maniacal, obsessive with creation, perfectionist in details, in love with silence, folk and everything that brings naturalness to a design. Solitude and abstraction are important to achieve excellent designs and that happens because of that antisocial point in which Ferran is so comfortable.

We are recovering the essence with which Psyco was born. The essence has not changed, and we have grown as designers, we will continue working to grow more and more every day.

Psyco is a cultural movement which means everything, it is not only the boulder, it is everything that surrounds us and everything is connected to the mental power, to the creativity of the movement, to the pure and open thought, without obstacles, without barriers, without limits ...

Psyco is the essence that surrounds us, it is the small ones that have made Psyco exist, all the sensations of the world become part of Psyco.

Rokodromo

The main staple of the Euro Holds Group, Rokodromo produces a plethora of holds, shapes and families for your climbing enjoyment.
